We can say that RSS subscribers are like our fans who visit our site often whenever we publish a new post.They are the regular readers of our blog and one of the vital source of getting traffic to our blog.Keeping rss subscribers is very important rather than getting more subscribers to our blog.If you have 5000 subscribers to your blog,I would prefer to say its good to keep 500 subscribers rather than losing 4000+ subscribers.What I am trying to say is,keeping our rss readers is hard task than building more rss readers.

Why visitors subscribe to your blog’s feed ? .Some key features are :

• You have quality content
• You publish new posts often
• You write interesting posts
• Your blog posts presentation are good to navigate easily
• Your blog posts are related to their niche

1.Your content should be original.,dont copy from other blogs.This is one of the important thing to consider.Most of the bloggers have original content,but while adding images to your posts dont forget to give a image credit pointing a link back to the original site.By this we are respecting other’s work and  making a good contribution to blogosphere.

2.Dont write posts as a bunch of paragraphs.This will make the readers to not easily navigate inside your posts.I have seen many of my blogging friends are writing such a nice post but as more paragraphs.

3.Dont add more CPC banners such as adsense or bidvertiser inside your post.This will make irritate to readers as they are not able to easily navigate inside your posts unless you have the images only related to the post.Even in some high traffic blogs,there are more banner ads inside their posts.What they expect is that they will get more clicks if they place banner ads inside the posts but they are not aware that they are losing their regular readers.

4.Update your posts often atleast four or five posts a week.Not often updation of your blog  post may dont let your readers to unsubscribe but what I mean to say is ,they will get more attention to your e-mails as you update often.

5.Dont add more hyperlinks of another posts inside your blog posts as they will take the readers to another page which they are not looking for.

6.Dont add link pop-up ads such as infolink and viglink  which is one of the most irritation to readers.For example if you add a hyperlink inside your blog post for signup or anything, the pop-up ads dominate over it by giving a new hyperlink for you link.By this when a reader clicks that link,he will be redirected to an another page and not to the one which you mentioned in your post.

7.Dont try to promote more of your affiliate links inside your blog posts.This will let readers to get a bad opinion about you as you are not into quality blogging but just to make money by using them.

8.Dont write more paid reviews often in your blog .

9.Dont try to make your readers a fool just with an eye-catching title.You know yourself that what kind of stuff you have in writing,so dont mention unbelievable much words in your blog post title.Dont try to attract your readers without any sense !.

Answer inside the blog post :

There is nothing inside the post but just a big google adsense banner.These folks are not aware that readers are not fools !.

10.Dont write out of the topic.Be sure to write contents only related to your post title.

11.Write posts only related to your niche.

12.Write one quality post rather than writing ten useless posts.

13.Reply to your readers mails and feedbacks.

14.Dont change your blog templates often.

15.Last but not least,try to write quality as well as interesting posts.
